Orange, Cranberry, Caramel
A washed Red Bourbon from South West Rwanda, this light roast brings orange, cranberry and caramel into a cup that's bright without being demanding. Horsham have sourced directly from the Liza washing station since 2017, and that long relationship shows in the cup - clean, well-defined, and equally at home through a filter or an espresso machine, with or without milk.

Bright Rwandan with caramel grounding
A washed Red Bourbon from the Liza washing station, near Kamembe in South West Rwanda - a coffee Horsham have been buying directly since 2017. That kind of long-running relationship tends to show in the cup, and this one is no exception. The station is run by Jean Paul, a second-generation farmer and agronomy consultant who processes cherry from his own 6,000-tree farm alongside hundreds of smallholders in the surrounding community. Careful hand sorting and thorough farmer training are part of how he works, and the results are consistent.
The flavour profile sits in a satisfying middle ground: orange and cranberry bring a gentle brightness, while caramel rounds things out and keeps it balanced. It's a well-judged light roast that holds up across brew methods - equally good as espresso or filter, comfortable with or without milk. Grown at over 1,600 metres, the altitude gives it a clean, defined character without tipping into sharp or austere.
If you're drawn to African coffees but want something approachable, this is a reliable and rewarding place to land.
