Orange, Chocolate, Sweet Caramel
A dependable espresso that earns its place in the morning without putting you to sleep. The Workhorse Blend is a light roast drawing on directly traded coffees from Rwanda and Brazil - orange, chocolate and sweet caramel in the cup, with enough brightness to keep things lively and enough body to hold it all together. Works as a shot or brewed long.

Bright, balanced espresso for mornings
The Workhorse Blend does exactly what the name suggests - it shows up every morning and delivers. Built around two directly traded coffees, a washed Rwandan and a pulped natural Brazilian, it's a light roast espresso that leans bright and juicy without losing the balance that makes it easy to drink day after day. The Rwanda Liza brings a clean, lively quality to the cup, while the Brazil Mantiqueira adds body and a gentle sweetness, with notes of orange, chocolate and sweet caramel threading through the whole thing.
Amelia and Bradley Steenkamp have been sourcing these coffees directly for years, and that familiarity shows in how well the blend holds together. Bradley's Q-grader background and regular trips to origin mean the coffees chosen for this blend are ones they know well before they ever reach the roaster.
If you're after something reliable that still has a bit of character - bright enough to be interesting, settled enough to be your everyday cup - the Workhorse earns its place on the shelf.
