Blackberry, Orange, Chocolate
Ethiopia Limu is a washed medium roast from the high-altitude growing region of south-west Ethiopia - clean and layered in the cup, with dark chocolate and blackberry at the base, orange and a quiet floral note running through it. Copper Coffee Roasters suggest it for espresso or a Moka Pot, though it holds up well however you choose to brew it.

Clean, floral, high-altitude Ethiopian brightness
Ethiopia Limu comes from the south-west of the country, grown at altitude where elevation and washed processing give the cup a clean, well-defined character. The flavours run from dark chocolate through to blackberry and orange, with a floral note that lifts the whole thing and stops it feeling heavy. It's a medium roast, so the brightness is present without tipping into anything sharp or austere.
Copper Coffee Roasters have been working with coffees like this since they started out in a Richmond office in 2019 - the kind of single origin that rewards a bit of attention but doesn't demand it. It holds an SCA score of 83.75, which is a useful marker of quality without being the point. The point is how it drinks. Copper suggest espresso or a Moka Pot, and it's easy to see why - the chocolate and fruit notes come through well under pressure, and the floral edge adds something you might not expect. It's also versatile enough to work across other brew methods if you'd rather take it slower.

About the Roaster
Copper Coffee Roasters started in 2019 in a small Richmond office, where a recruitment business and a growing obsession with great coffee shared the same desk space. That obsession has since grown into a roastery in Cobham, Surrey, three coffee shops across south-west London and Surrey, and a range built around helping people find their way into speciality coffee without the fuss.
