Caramel, Chocolate, Red Apple
Colombia Excelso is Copper Coffee Roasters' best-selling coffee, and it earns that spot by being reliably, unpretentiously good. Medium-dark roasted, it's a full-bodied cup built around caramel, chocolate and a gentle red apple note - easy to brew in just about any method you prefer, and comfortable with or without milk.

Caramel, chocolate and red apple
Colombia Excelso is Copper Coffee Roasters' most popular coffee, and it's not hard to see why. Roasted to a medium-dark profile, it's a full-bodied, straightforward cup - the kind that delivers without demanding anything from you in return. Caramel and chocolate sit at the centre, rich and rounded, with a quiet note of red apple lending just enough brightness to keep things interesting without tipping into sharpness.
It's a coffee that works across most of what you might already have at home - French press, V60, AeroPress, Moka pot - and holds up equally well as espresso. That kind of flexibility makes it a reliable everyday option, whether you're brewing for yourself on a weekday morning or making a pot for friends. The body is heavy enough to carry milk well, but there's enough character there to enjoy it black. Available whole bean or pre-ground to your preferred grind size, in 225g, 500g or 1kg bags - all packed in fully recyclable packaging.

About the Roaster
Copper Coffee Roasters started in 2019 in a small Richmond office, where a recruitment business and a growing obsession with great coffee shared the same desk space. That obsession has since grown into a roastery in Cobham, Surrey, three coffee shops across south-west London and Surrey, and a range built around helping people find their way into speciality coffee without the fuss.
