Walnut, Milk Chocolate, Caramel
The Fleet is a natural process single origin from CARPEC, a long-established co-operative in Alta Mogiana, Brazil. Grown at altitude and dried whole on raised beds, it brings walnut, milk chocolate and a soft caramel finish. The kind of coffee that feels unhurried - easy to reach for, whatever your brew method.

Rich, chocolate-dark, no fuss needed
The Fleet comes from CARPEC, a co-operative with sixty years of history in Alta Mogiana, a traditional growing region in the northeast of São Paulo state. The lot is named Black Strix by the co-operative - one of several owl names they give their lots as a nod to the landscape - and Press Coffee & Co have carried that spirit of place into their own name for it, referencing Fleet Street and the role it played in their own story.
Grown between 800m and 1,100m and processed naturally - cherries picked and laid out whole on raised drying beds, skin on, slowly absorbing the fruit as they dry in the sun - the result is a coffee with real depth and warmth. Walnut and milk chocolate sit at the centre, with a caramel sweetness that rounds things out without tipping into cloying. It drinks easily whether you're pulling it as an espresso or brewing it long and slow on a quiet morning. Rich without being heavy, settled without being dull.

About the Roaster
Press Coffee & Co started life in 2013 as a single espresso bar on Fleet Street, grew to seven sites across Central London, and in 2019 found its footing with a roastery in Herne Hill. Andy and Nelly now run it as a focused roasting operation - sourcing, roasting and supplying coffee to wholesale partners and home brewers alike, with a small, close-knit team who take the coffee seriously without making a performance of it.
