Rosé, Lemon Drops
A natural process Red Bourbon from Burundi's Mumirwa region, Bujumbura has a lemon sweetness and soft rosé character that keeps it feeling light and lifted in the cup. Sourced from 81 smallholders and dried on raised beds by Migoti Coffee, it's a fruit-forward filter with a delicate complexity that's easy to enjoy and, frankly, hard to stop at one cup.

Bright, fruit-forward and quietly floral
Bujumbura is a natural process Red Bourbon from the Nyabiraba Commune in Burundi's Mumirwa region, brought together from 81 smallholder farmers and processed by Migoti Coffee at their Kinama washing station. After harvest, the cherries were sorted, given a short fermentation, then dried slowly on raised beds for three to four weeks - a process that draws out the fruit and gives the cup its distinctive lift.
In the cup, you get bright lemon sweetness and a soft rosé character that feels almost floral without tipping into perfume. It rewards a slower brew - filter or pour-over lets the delicate complexity breathe. Press Coffee & Co have been sourcing from Burundi for a while, and Bujumbura is the kind of lot that shows why: bright and juicy without being sharp, with a finish that lingers cleanly. If you tend to reach for lighter, fruit-forward coffees, this one is well worth your time.

About the Roaster
Press Coffee & Co started life in 2013 as a single espresso bar on Fleet Street, grew to seven sites across Central London, and in 2019 found its footing with a roastery in Herne Hill. Andy and Nelly now run it as a focused roasting operation - sourcing, roasting and supplying coffee to wholesale partners and home brewers alike, with a small, close-knit team who take the coffee seriously without making a performance of it.
