Citrus-bright espresso with caramel warmth
The Press Blend is built around two coffees that do different things well and happen to work beautifully together. The Colombian is washed process, which keeps things bright and zesty - that's where the clementine character comes from. The Brazilian is natural process, dried inside the fruit, and it brings the sweetness: salted caramel and hazelnut, with a body that holds up when milk gets involved.
Pull it as an espresso and you get something lively but grounded, with enough sweetness to balance the brightness. Steam milk into it and it settles into something richer and more rounded, without losing its character.
It works across the week, too. Weekday mornings when you just need it to be good; weekend flat whites when you want it to feel considered. About the Roaster
Press Coffee started life in 2013 as a single espresso bar on Fleet Street, grew to seven sites across Central London, and in 2019 found its footing with a roastery in Herne Hill. Andy and Nelly now run it as a focused roasting operation - sourcing, roasting and supplying coffee to wholesale partners and home brewers alike, with a small, close-knit team who take the coffee seriously without making a performance of it.
