Strawberry, Grapefruit
Grown at 2,200 metres in the highlands of Arbegona, this naturally processed Ethiopian coffee from producer Asefa Dukamo Korma is juicy and fruit-driven - strawberry and grapefruit notes, with a clean, fresh finish. The kind of coffee that makes a quiet case for slowing your morning down. Particularly good through a pour over or Aeropress.

Bright, floral Ethiopia. Beautifully clean
Grown on small plots in the highland region of Arbegona in southern Ethiopia, this natural lot from producer Asefa Dukamo Korma sits at around 2,200 metres above sea level - high enough that cooler air slows cherry maturation right down, letting sugars build gradually before the fruit is dried whole. That unhurried process shows clearly in the cup: strawberry and grapefruit lead, bright and clean, with a freshness that keeps things lively without tipping into sharpness.
Fruit-forward and floral, with a finish that doesn't linger too long or clutter the palate - it's the kind of Ethiopian natural that earns its reputation without demanding much of you. Pour it over a V60 or through an Aeropress and it opens up nicely, though it holds its own however you brew it.
If you've been curious about what makes Ethiopian naturals so well regarded, this is a good place to find out. Assembly have been sourcing with care since 2015, and this lot is a clear example of why that attention to the supply chain matters.

About the Roaster
Assembly Coffee started in Brixton in 2015, built around a simple conviction: that a roastery should source what its customers actually need, not what looks good on a shelf. Now a B-Corp certified team of thirty, they work with producers, scientists and hospitality partners across the world - bringing carefully chosen coffees to independent cafes, restaurants and home brewers from London to Manila.
