Punchy, Praline, Milk Chocolate
Con Vivo is Wogan's take on the classic Italian-style blend - Brazilian and Ethiopian arabicas with Indian robusta, pulling praline and milk chocolate into a cup that's punchy, forgiving and built for daily use. If you've always had a soft spot for bold, no-nonsense espresso that defined a certain era of café culture, this is the one to reach for.

Old-school Italian espresso, no apologies
Con Vivo is Wogan's nod to the kind of espresso that was pulling shots long before single origins became a talking point - a hearty blend of Brazilian and Ethiopian arabicas with Indian robusta, built in the spirit of the 1980s and 90s Italian café tradition. The robusta does real work here: it adds body, a serious kick, and a crema that holds up well whether you're pulling a short, concentrated shot or letting it stretch into a longer cup. Flavour-wise, you're in praline and milk chocolate territory - familiar, satisfying, with none of the fussiness of a lighter roast.
Wogan are upfront that this isn't a specialty coffee, and that honesty is part of the appeal. It's a coffee for people who know what they like and want it delivered reliably, every morning, without ceremony. It works well on an espresso machine, handles a stovetop with ease, and makes a flat white taste exactly as it should.
Three generations of roasting in Bristol have gone into knowing how a blend like this should feel in the cup. Con Vivo feels like it.

About the Roaster
Wogan Coffee has been part of Bristol's fabric for over fifty years, now run across three generations with one branch in Bristol and another in London. As a wholly independent family company, they've spent decades learning not just how to roast well, but how to do it responsibly - paying the living wage, running solar-powered roasteries, and delivering locally by cargo bike.
