Cocoa, Praline, Caramel
If you want a decaf that tastes straightforwardly of coffee - warm, cocoa-rich and gently sweet - the MC Decaffeinated is a reliable, unfussy option. Brazilian arabica from Minas Gerais, roasted to a medium-dark, it delivers praline and caramel alongside cocoa, with just enough acidity to keep things from feeling flat.

No-fuss decaf, cocoa-rich and easy
A medium-dark blend of Brazilian arabica from smallholder farms in the Minas Gerais region, this one offers cocoa, praline and caramel in the cup, with a gentle lift of acidity to keep things from feeling flat. It's the kind of decaf that doesn't ask you to think too hard about it - which is exactly the point.
The caffeine has been removed using a methylene chloride solvent process, bringing the caffeine content down by around 97% while keeping the flavour largely intact. The result is a coffee that tastes like coffee: rounded, familiar and easy to enjoy at any hour.
With an SCA score of 78, this sits outside specialty territory, and Wogan are upfront about that. It's built for catering and commercial settings where consistency and approachability matter more than complexity. It holds up well across a range of brew methods - espresso, cafetiere, stovetop - without needing much fuss from whoever's behind the machine.
If you're after a decaf that simply does what it says, this is a solid, honest option.
