Redcurrant, Vanilla, Cacao Nib
A washed Colombian from twelve farming families in the Cauca Department, La Laguna Reserva is smooth and creamy - redcurrant, vanilla and cacao nib. It holds up well across brew methods and takes particularly well to milk, where the fruit sweetness softens into something rich and rounded.

Smooth, creamy and quietly fruit-bright
La Laguna is the work of twelve farming families in Colombia's Cauca Department, each tending their own smallholder plot before pooling the harvest under the Manantial Association banner. Growing almost entirely under shade at 1,700 to 1,850 metres, the coffee is washed and fermented for around 18 hours, then dried slowly for up to 25 days - and you can taste the care. The result is smooth and creamy, with redcurrant brightness, a quiet vanilla sweetness and a gentle cacao nib finish that lingers without demanding attention.
The connection to CENCOIC Co-Operative adds a layer of meaning that goes beyond the cup. Founded with ties to the local community police force in Cauca, the co-operative has spent years working to improve safety and prosperity in a region that bore the brunt of decades of conflict. The F6 varietal - developed by selectively breeding the best Castillo cherries across six generations - is one small sign of how seriously these families take their work.
Scoring 87.5 with the SCA, this is a coffee that holds up across brew methods. It's particularly good with milk, where the fruit and vanilla notes settle into something closer to white chocolate.

About the Roaster
Wogan Coffee has been part of Bristol's fabric for over fifty years, now run across three generations with one branch in Bristol and another in London. As a wholly independent family company, they've spent decades learning not just how to roast well, but how to do it responsibly - paying the living wage, running solar-powered roasteries, and delivering locally by cargo bike.
