Gooseberry, Wine Gums, Praline
A medium-light Colombian with a clean, inviting character - gooseberry and wine gum acidity balanced by a praline sweetness that lingers on the finish. Sourced from smallholder farms across the Antioquia Department and washed to keep things bright, it drinks well black or with milk and holds up across just about any brewing method you care to reach for.

Sweet, bright and reliably easy-drinking
This Colombian comes from a collection of smallholder farms across the Antioquia Department, just north of Medellín - grown at altitude and washed to bring out its cleaner, brighter character. At a medium-light roast, it sits in a sweet, balanced spot: gooseberry and wine gum acidity up front, with praline rounding things out on the finish. The SCA score of 84.2 reflects careful selection for consistency, and that consistency shows - cup after cup, the same reliable sweetness and gentle brightness you'd hope for from this part of Colombia.
The variety mix tells a bit of Colombian coffee history. Castillo, developed after the devastating leaf rust outbreak of 2008-2009, now dominates alongside Caturra, Typica and Colombia varieties - each contributing to a profile that's approachable without being dull. It works well across brewing methods, and the nutty undertone makes it a natural fit with milk.
If you're new to specialty coffee, this is a confident place to start. If you're not, it's the kind of dependable, well-priced everyday option that earns its place in the rotation.
