Dark Chocolate, Butter, Hazelnut
A medium-roast Kenyan AA in a Nespresso-compatible capsule, leading with dark chocolate, butter and hazelnut, then lifted by the floral notes and natural sweetness that Kirinyaga County's volcanic soils tend to coax out. Grown at altitude from SL28 and Ruiru 11 varietals, it sits on the lighter end of the pod spectrum - and the capsules go straight into home recycling.

Bright, fruit-forward Kenya in pods
Grown in the rich red volcanic soils of Kirinyaga County, just south of Mount Kenya, this is a Kenyan AA that leans into the brightness and fruit-forward character the region is known for. The labelled tasting notes - dark chocolate, butter and hazelnut - sit alongside the floral lift and stone-fruit sweetness you'd expect from SL28 and Ruiru 11, two varietals bred for the Kenyan climate and respected for the clarity they bring to the cup.
Wogan have been roasting a Kenyan AA in some form for around thirty years, and it shows in how well this one is handled. At medium roast, it holds onto the origin's natural sweetness without pushing into heavier territory - useful to know if you're used to darker pod options. Wogan are upfront about this: it's a lighter-style pod, and the better for it.
The capsules are uncoated aluminium, Nespresso-compatible, and fully recyclable through home recycling. An SCA score of 87 reflects the quality of the green coffee, sourced from a county that consistently produces some of the most characterful arabica on the continent.
