Chocolate, Citrus
A Honduran single origin that doesn't ask much of you - just soft chocolate sweetness, a gentle citrus lift, and a balance that holds up black or with milk. Organic and Fairtrade from Owens in Devon, it's the kind of coffee that slots into your day without a second thought.

Soft, chocolatey and quietly citrus-bright
Honduras is the sort of coffee that earns its place in the morning routine without any fuss. The cup is soft and rounded, with a gentle chocolate sweetness that settles in early and a quiet citrus brightness that keeps things from feeling flat. Nothing here is pushing for attention - it's a coffee that simply drinks well, start to finish, and leaves you wanting another.
Lorraine and the team at Owens have held an organic and Fairtrade standard since they started roasting in Ivybridge back in 2010, and this Honduras is a good example of what that produces: clean, clear flavour without anything muddy or harsh in the background. Organic farming lets the coffee cherry develop at its own pace, and you can taste the difference in how composed the cup feels. If you tend to drink your coffee with milk, the chocolate notes carry through nicely; if you take it black, the citrus lifts it just enough to keep things interesting. Either way, it's an easy, dependable choice for everyday drinking.

About the Roaster
Owens has been roasting coffee in Ivybridge since 2010, and Lorraine - who came to the craft from a career in biotech - brings a scientist's instinct for precision to every batch. Every coffee they sell is organic, Fairtrade, and independently graded as specialty, a standard they've held from the start. They were the first dedicated organic coffee roaster in the South West, and nothing about that commitment has shifted since.
