Black Gold No.3 is Coaltown's everyday espresso blend, and the pod version is built to deliver exactly what made the original a café staple - that familiar, comforting combination of nutty milk chocolate and biscuit that sits well morning after morning without asking much of you. Brazil and Honduras bring a rounded, approachable character to the cup, and Coaltown have ground the coffee specifically for a longer pod extraction, so the flavour holds up rather than thinning out.

About the Roaster
Scott James set up Coaltown in Ammanford, a South Wales town that ran on anthracite coal for generations, with a straightforward idea: that great coffee could give a post-industrial community something to rally around again. The team roasts daily in small batches, working a range that moves from easy-drinking espresso blends through to more expressive single origins.
