Red Grape, Passionfruit, Treacle
A natural from the Letefoho region of Timor-Leste, this one opens with juicy red grape and passionfruit before settling into a dark, treacle-like sweetness and a full, syrupy body. Sourced through Karst Organics from a collective of over 140 farming households, it's the kind of coffee that makes a slower morning feel entirely justified.

Dark, fruit-deep, and treacle-slow richness
The Rotutu Natural is one of the more vivid coffees in Dear Green's lineup - a fruit-forward natural from the Letefoho region of Timor-Leste that leans into richness without losing its shape. Red grape and passionfruit lead up front, bright and juicy, before a dark, treacle-like sweetness settles in and carries through to the finish. The body is full and syrupy, the kind that coats the cup and lingers.
It's sourced through Karst Organics from a collective of over 140 households in the Rotutu community, grown at altitude between 1,420 and 1,500 metres. The natural process - whole cherries dried in the sun with the fruit still intact - is what drives that intensity. Careful harvesting at full ripeness keeps things clear and defined, which is harder to pull off than it sounds.
If you enjoy coffees that feel expressive and a little indulgent, this one's worth your time. Dear Green also offer a washed version of the same coffee, if you'd like to taste what the process alone brings to the cup.

About the Roaster
Dear Green was founded by Lisa Lawson in Glasgow in 2011 - one woman, one roaster, and a clear sense of what specialty coffee could be in Scotland. Fourteen years on, they're a B Corp-certified roastery with a full team, a training space, and sourcing built on direct relationships and transparency. There's also a Q Grader in house, which means every coffee on the list has been properly scrutinised before it gets anywhere near you.
