Forest Fruits, Almond, Caramel
A washed coffee from a women's cooperative in Colombia, grown between 1,400 and 2,000 metres. Forest fruits, almond, and a quiet caramel sweetness - easy-drinking and well-rounded, it holds up just as well black as it does with milk. The kind of coffee you can come back to throughout the day without it ever feeling like hard work.

Fruit-bright Colombian with almond calm
The Colombia ASMUCAFE comes from a women's cooperative, grown at altitude between 1,400 and 2,000 metres and processed using the washed method - which tends to produce a clean, clear cup where the coffee's own character comes through without distraction. Dear Green has been working with producers through direct relationships for years, and this is a good example of what that sourcing looks like in the cup: a coffee that feels considered without making a fuss about it.
The roaster notes forest fruits, almond, and caramel - a combination that sits comfortably together, neither too bright nor too heavy. It drinks well across the day, easy to enjoy black but equally at home with milk. If you're new to washed Colombian coffees, this is a welcoming place to start; if you already know what you like, it'll feel familiar in the best sense.

About the Roaster
Dear Green was founded by Lisa Lawson in Glasgow in 2011 - one woman, one roaster, and a clear sense of what specialty coffee could be in Scotland. Fourteen years on, they're a B Corp-certified roastery with a full team, a training space, and sourcing built on direct relationships and transparency. There's also a Q Grader in house, which means every coffee on the list has been properly scrutinised before it gets anywhere near you.
