Milk chocolate, Fruit, Nuts
If you enjoy the ritual of a proper coffee but want to keep your caffeine in check, 50/50 blends Surrey Hills' Night Flight decaf with a Brazilian coffee, roasted to a medium profile by Chris and Monika in Abinger Hammer. Milk chocolate and a hint of fruit, it works across filter and espresso - and it's a useful thing to have around when a full-strength brew isn't quite right.

Half the kick, full cup
Some mornings call for coffee, but not quite the full hit. That's the thinking behind 50/50 - a blend of Surrey Hills' own Night Flight decaf and a Brazilian coffee, roasted to a medium level and built for everyday drinking without the full caffeine load.
The cup is warm and approachable: milk chocolate at the centre, with gentle fruit running through it. It works well as espresso or through a filter, and it fits quietly into your routine rather than demanding attention. Chris and Monika developed it for people who find full-strength coffee a bit much but don't want to give up the flavour or the ritual of a proper brew.
If you're curious about blending at home, they suggest mixing Night Flight with any other coffee you enjoy - the 50/50 is just their tried and tested starting point. The decaf component is processed using either the CO2 or Swiss Water method, both of which remove caffeine without relying on chemical solvents.

About the Roaster
Founded in 2014 by Chris and Monika, Surrey Hills Coffee has been quietly doing things their own way - hand roasting specialty-grade coffee in the village of Abinger Hammer, deep in the Surrey Hills. They're not chasing trends; they're building a range that gives you something to come back to, whatever your taste or mood.
