50/50 is a half caf blend that brings together the bold, nutty character of Brazilian coffee with the smooth, easygoing flavour of Night Flight decaf. A great choice if you are cutting back on caffeine but still want the ritual, flavour and satisfaction of a proper cup.
If you like the idea of less caffeine without giving up the full coffee experience, 50/50 might be just what you are looking for. Chris and Monika have combined two coffees they know inside out. One is a single origin Brazilian with classic chocolate and nutty notes. The other is their own house decaf, Night Flight, made using the Swiss Water method to retain its natural sweetness and depth.
The result is a medium roast blend with a balanced flavour profile and half the caffeine. You will taste milk chocolate, toasted nuts and soft caramel, with a smooth and rounded finish that works beautifully with or without milk.
50/50 is designed to be easy to brew and easy to enjoy. Whether you are pulling espresso shots, brewing on the hob, or making a filter in the afternoon, this blend fits into your day without overwhelming it.

About the Roaster
Surrey Hills Coffee was founded in 2014 by Chris and Monika, a Swedish couple who moved from London to the Surrey Hills in search of fresh air, good cycling and better coffee. What started as a passion project soon turned into a well-loved fixture of the local scene, with their small batch roastery nestled in the village of Abinger Hammer.
