Holmbury Hill
Surrey Hills CoffeeSweet, nutty, chocolatey premium coffee
If you are after an easy drinking coffee that feels familiar in all the right ways, Holmbury Hill is a smooth and nutty house blend that shines whether you take it black or with milk. Roasted in small batches by Chris and Monika in the heart of the Surrey Hills, this is a dependable favourite you will want to return to again and again.

Named after one of their favourite walks through the woods near Abinger Hammer, Holmbury Hill is more than just a blend. It is the signature coffee from Surrey Hills Coffee. In fact, it is what they serve every day in their own cafés, which tells you just how much care has gone into getting it right.
Chris and Monika, the husband and wife team behind the roastery, are passionate about making great coffee accessible without overcomplicating things. Holmbury Hill is exactly that. A medium roast, combining Brazilian and Colombian beans, designed to bring you a comforting mix of milk chocolate, soft caramel and mellow nutty notes.
It is smooth and satisfying, especially with milk, but equally enjoyable as a straight espresso. The flavour is familiar in the best possible way. There is depth and character, but it is never overpowering. It is the kind of coffee that settles into your routine without ever becoming boring.
We often suggest Holmbury Hill to anyone looking to explore better coffee at home. It is easy to brew, consistently delicious and friendly to a wide range of brewing styles. Whether you are using a home espresso machine, a moka pot on the hob, or simply adding warm milk to a morning cup, this is a coffee that feels right.
Dependable but full of flavour. Sweet without being rich. A gently confident blend from two people who truly love what they do.

About the Roaster
Surrey Hills Coffee was founded in 2014 by Chris and Monika, a Swedish couple who moved from London to the Surrey Hills in search of fresh air, good cycling and better coffee. What started as a passion project soon turned into a well-loved fixture of the local scene, with their small batch roastery nestled in the village of Abinger Hammer.
