Bantham
OwensBantham is a smooth and well balanced coffee from Owens, bringing together chocolate richness, caramel sweetness and a gentle citrus lift. Sourced from smallholder farmers and roasted in Devon by Lorraine and the team, it is an easy going cup that works just as well with milk as it does on its own.

Smooth chocolate with easy citrus
Bantham is one of those coffees that feels settled from the first sip. It is built around balance, with chocolate and caramel at the core, supported by a light citrus note that brings just enough brightness to keep things feeling fresh and well judged.
The coffee is sourced from smallholder farmers, where careful picking and processing help preserve clarity and sweetness in the cup. That attention at origin carries through into the roasting. Lorraine’s background in science comes through in the way the profile has been shaped, allowing each element to sit comfortably alongside the others without any one note taking over.
In the cup, the chocolate and caramel give it a rounded, familiar feel, while the citrus adds a gentle lift rather than a sharp edge. It is smooth, steady and easy to return to, which is very much the point.
Bantham is designed to work across different ways of brewing. As an espresso, it is soft and balanced. With milk, the sweetness comes forward and the body feels fuller. Brewed as a filter, the citrus note becomes a little more noticeable, giving the cup a lighter feel without losing its structure.
It is a coffee that does not ask too much of you. Everything is in the right place, and it delivers exactly what you want it to, time and again.
