Some coffees ask quite a lot of you. The Mount Blend is not one of them.
This is the sort of coffee people tend to come back to because it does exactly what you want it to. Smooth enough to drink every day, rich enough to feel satisfying, and balanced enough to work whether you take your coffee short and black or with plenty of milk.
Volcano built The Mount Blend around the classic strengths of South American coffee, bringing together beans from Brazil, El Salvador and Colombia to create something approachable but far from boring. Expect silky milk chocolate, rich caramel and just enough sweet red grape brightness to keep things interesting. Low in acidity, medium roasted and naturally easy to get along with.
There is a personal story behind the name, too. Created as a tribute to the founder’s late father and inspired by Mount Maunganui in New Zealand, it carries that same easy-going warmth in the cup. Familiar, comforting and quietly dependable.
About the Roaster
Volcano Coffee Works has a London coffee roastery, a café, and a team of 45 people on a mission to build the best coffee company we can, bean by bean. And the first batch of the day is still roasted by their founder, Kurt. They are known for ethically sourced, small-batch coffees that balance bold flavour with sustainability and direct relationships with growers.
