Where a coffee’s grown shapes how it tastes - climate, altitude, soil and traditions all play a part. Some countries are known for certain styles (like Ethiopia’s florals or Colombia’s balance), but every origin has its surprises. It’s one of the joys of exploring coffee.

This tells you if the coffee’s a single origin - all from one farm or region - or a blend, combining beans from different places. Think single malt vs blended whisky: one’s all about place, the other about balance. Both can taste incredible.

This tells you how long the coffee’s been roasted. Lighter roasts are brighter and fruitier; darker ones are bolder and richer. Neither’s better - just depends how you like your brew. Think of it like toast: golden or deep brown, it’s all about taste.
