A London roastery with coffee, community and collaboration at its core
Press Coffee was founded by husband-and-wife team Andy and Nelly and is based in Herne Hill, South London. While great coffee sits at the centre of everything they do, the business has always been about more than what ends up in the cup. From sourcing and roasting to deliveries and customer relationships, Press is built around a close-knit team that shares a genuine passion for coffee, hospitality and bringing people together.
Their Coffee Range
Press keeps its range focused, balancing dependable blends with a carefully selected line-up of single origins. The emphasis is on coffees that are approachable, expressive and enjoyable to brew day after day.
Press Blend sits at the heart of the range, offering a balanced profile designed to work across espresso and milk-based drinks. The Fleet brings a little more depth and richness to the cup, while Reforest reflects Press’s commitment to sourcing coffees that support long-term environmental and community projects.
The single origins provide space to explore different producers, regions and flavour profiles. Loma Ocotitlán and Huipil showcase distinct expressions of Mexican coffee, while Los Robles from Costa Rica offers sweetness and balance. Burundi and Muki Fruity Uganda bring brighter fruit character and a little more complexity, each highlighting the individuality of their origin.
Decaf Rainbow rounds out the range, roasted with the same attention and care as the rest of the coffees, retaining flavour and character without relying on caffeine to do the heavy lifting.
More About Press Coffee
Press roasts from its South London base in Herne Hill, where the team works closely together across sourcing, roasting, operations and customer relationships. Andy and Nelly continue to guide the business, supported by Head of Operations Jack and Head of Coffee Ross, who help shape everything from sourcing and roasting to the day-to-day running of the roastery.
That collaborative spirit runs through the whole company. Coffee may be the product, but people are clearly at the centre of the story. The team places as much value on relationships as they do on roasting, whether that is working with producers, supporting wholesale customers or welcoming regulars through the door.
Sourcing is approached with the same mindset. Press works with trusted producing partners and importers to build a range of traceable coffees that reflect both quality and sustainability. Projects such as Reforest demonstrate that commitment, connecting great coffee with positive environmental impact in a practical and meaningful way.
